Halo 2 [2007][RIP][2.51GB]

The defeat of the Covenant in the first Halo game was only a temporary victory, as the alien attackers have renewed their mission to wipe out all of humanity. Despite the human military force’s and Master Chief’s efforts, the Covenant have breeched the Earth’s defenses and have left its inhabitants in a dismal situation. In the midst of desperation, players assume the role of Master Chief and lead the resistance against the Covenant to save the people of Earth from a gruesome demise.

After unraring, simply install XLiveRedist1.0.6027.msi , then vcredist.msi

Both files are locatated in the ‘INSTALL THESE FIRST’ folder.

Install or re-install DX9 april version on both XP or VISTA.

XP ACTIVATION WORKAROUND

I think there can be a problem on level 12 on xp and you will have to use this workaround you can do so….follow the intsructions in the instructions.txt carefully(enclosed in the archive), you will play all the maps. Except of course level 12. You may need to just skip it.

Basically, the files will rename your maps. You then just select your campaign

as the first ‘heretic’ each time you choose campaign in the in game menu.

That campaign ‘heretic’ will actaully load as the first map of the 3 you’re

wishing to play

1.: Unrar and Install XLiveRedist1.0.6027.msi , then vcredist.msi found inside the ‘INSTALL THESE FIRST’ folder.

2.: Start on XP by double-clicking ‘XP PLAY HALO 2.bat’

3.: Start on Vista: remove the file ‘dwmapi.dll’ from the game folder and start

with halo2.exe
